Where the money goes

Need accounting, maintenance or leasing too? They are on the full plans, and online rent collection has no service fee there.

Do I have to leave my current software?+
No. Proprietio Pay only collects the payments. Your ledger, your leases and your accounting stay where they are.
Why do I need to verify my identity?+
Anyone who receives payments online must be verified. Stripe, our payment partner, runs the check once, in a few minutes.
How is the $0.99 charged?+
It is deducted from each payment before it is paid out to you. There is no invoice to pay and no card on file. A refunded payment is not charged.
Who pays the processing fee?+
You choose, building by building: the resident pays Stripe’s fee on top of the rent, or you absorb it. It is charged at cost, with no markup from us.
Can I move to the full platform later?+
Yes. Your residents, units and payment history are already in Proprietio. Choosing a plan unlocks accounting, maintenance and the rest, and the $0.99 per payment stops.
