Privacy Policy

Proprietio is a product of Square Working LLC (“we”, “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company located at 680 S Cache Street, Jackson, WY 83001. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information we collect

From property managers (our customers)

• Account info: company name, owner name, email, password (hashed), phone
• Billing info: handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card number
• Property data you enter: addresses, units, leases, financials
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, error logs

From tenants (your customers)

• Name, email, phone, current address (provided during application)
• Payment data: handled by Stripe; we never see card or bank account numbers
• Lease, payment history, maintenance requests submitted

2. How we use it

• To provide the service (deliver the platform, process payments, send notifications)
• To improve the product (anonymized usage analytics)
• To communicate with you (transactional emails, occasional product updates)
• To comply with legal obligations (tax forms, subpoenas)

We do not sell your personal data. We do not train AI models on your private data.

3. Data sharing

We share data only with these vendors, all of whom are bound by data-processing agreements:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional emails
• Render — application + database hosting
• Vercel — frontend hosting

4. Data retention

While your subscription is active, we retain your data so the service works. After cancellation, data is retained for 90 days to allow recovery, then permanently deleted unless you ask sooner.

5. Security

Passwords are stored with bcrypt. Database connections use TLS. Payment data is tokenized via Stripe (PCI-compliant). Daily backups with point-in-time recovery. No security system is perfect — if we discover a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you within 72 hours.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Export your data in machine-readable form
• Object to certain processing
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies (authentication, session). No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.

8. Changes to this policy

We'll notify you by email at least 30 days before any material change. The current version is always posted here.
