What if my balances don’t match?
We reconcile every tenant balance against your old system before go-live. You see the comparison and sign off. Nothing goes live until it matches.
Do I have to shut down my old software?
No. Keep it running during the migration, and cancel it only once you have reviewed everything in Proprietio.
What about residents on autopay?
Autopay has to be set up again on any new platform. We send your residents a simple invite to enroll in their new portal and show you who has done it.

- Is the migration really free?
- Free on every annual plan, and on every plan from Growth up. Up to 250 units and 25 buildings, it costs nothing. Larger portfolio? We migrate it too: free for the first 250 units and 25 buildings, a fixed quote for the rest, and a go-live date agreed before we start.
- When do the 7 days start?
- The 7 days start when we receive your complete exports. If an export is missing, we tell you the same day which one.
- What if you are late?
- If your migration takes us more than 14 days from the day we have your complete exports, your first month is free.
- What do I have to do?
- Export your data from your current software and drop it in the Magic Link we email you: a private upload page, no account or login needed. Then review the result before go-live. That is all.
- What is the Magic Link?
- A private upload page made for your account. Drop your exports (CSV, Excel), your resident ledger and your documents: leases, IDs, applications, insurance, notices, as files, a folder or a .zip. We file each document on the right resident.
- Can I import my data myself instead?
- Yes. The bulk CSV import on the Properties and Tenants pages is there on every plan, with downloadable templates.
